ERLING BRAUT HAALAND COLLAB

From personal choice to a collection of his own

Long before this collaboration came to life, KKNEKKI was already part of Erling Braut Haaland’s everyday life.

Not introduced through a campaign or designed to make a statement, but something he chose himself because it worked. Over time, it became part of his routine, worn at training, on match days, and everything in between. That genuine connection eventually evolved into something more, with Haaland choosing to become part of the ownership side of Norwegian brand KKNEKKI as well.

“I wear KKNEKKI and have invested in the company because I believe in the product,” Haaland says.

Rather than creating something new for the sake of it, this collection builds on what was already there. The starting point was simple: take what he already wears, and shape it into something that reflects him.

The result is a limited edition box of eight KKNEKKI hair ties, personally selected by Erling.

“The eight Haaland KKNEKKI hair ties are inspired by the colors I wear on the pitch for the teams I play for.”

Some tones reflect the energy of match days - intensity and focus. Others are more understated, inspired by time away from the pitch. Together, they balance performance and everyday life.

Each piece is finished with a custom HAALAND bead. It’s a subtle, but intentional detail that makes it personal.

At its core, the product remains unchanged. Each hair tie is crafted using KKNEKKI’s signature weaving technique, made from over 60 threads for strength and softness. It provides a secure hold without pulling or damaging the hair, designed to be worn just as naturally on the wrist as in the hair.

This release also comes at a meaningful moment for Haaland;

“I have dreamed of playing in the World Cup since I was a kid, like my father did in 1994. Now it’s my turn, and it means everything.”

Reaching that level is never about one defining moment. It’s built over time, through the small things that stay consistent, like routines, habits, and the small choices that keep you focused.

But the idea goes beyond football. It might be the dream of the world cup for Haaland, but everyone is working towards something. Big or small, visible or not. And more often than not, it’s the small things that help you stay on track.

And that’s the idea behind this launch.The details that keep everything in place, without taking attention away from what truly matters.

Because when you focus on a dream, nothing should be left to chance.
